How To Drain A Washington Swamp

When Congress confers special benefits on some, it denies equal protection under law to all.

HOW TO DRAIN THE WASHINGTON SWAMP

THE ESTABLISHMENTA broad array of special interests busy buying influence from politicians of both parties, anyone willing to grant them special benefits, privileges and immunities   It puts public power in the service of private pecuniary interests.  The special interests win, as do their well-connected lawyers, and lobbyists. In countless ways, millions of unsuspecting Americans lose.  For their "service" leaders, those driven to gain, hold and rise in public office are rewarded with hefty campaign contributions and sundry other shows of appreciation.

It's always a quid pro quo.  The establishment sits n the lap of luxury while the average American sits mired in hardship.  The seven wealthiest counties in the country border Washington D. C. while communities across the land languish.

Why is it a corruption of government's true purpose?  When Congress confers special benefits on SOME it denies equal protection under law to ALL. And it turns American politics into the happy place social welfare advocates and "counterfeit" capitalists can go to get all manner of benefits at their neighbors' expense.

The establishment is otherwise known as the corporate welfare state. It is nothing more  than a vast criminal conspiracy, a racketeering enterprise organized to promote institutionalized theft on a national scale and under cover of law.

The tools of the establishment's corrupt trade: pork, bacon, earmarks, member items, constituent services, member farm subsidies, protective tariffs, business bailouts, too-big-to-fail, pay-to-play, and the ever-growing gaggle of so-called entitlements.  To take the money out of politics we'll have to take the power to enrich special interests out of the hands of the politicians.

Let's make government what our founders intended it to be: a PROTECTOR not a PROVIDER

Any american who is paying upwards of 50% in combined federal/state/local taxes is already half-slave/half-free.  What's American about that, and why put up with it?  With the nation now $20+ trillion in debt it's time to show the establishment pols of both parties the door and send an army of Mr. Smiths to Washington to CUT programs, CLOSE agencies and SHRINK the size of government .

There's nearly nothing wrong with this country that a nationwide, grass-roots WELFARE REVOLT won't fix.
